In order to pursue its objective of raising awareness on soil health, the PREPSOIL website is launching two new sections: Soil threats in EU and Living Labs and Soil Lighthouses.“Soil threats in EU” offers a selection of original material produced by the PREPSOIL partners. These pages illustrate some soil threats for different land types across Europe.
The European Union Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe” aims to establish 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses to lead the transition towards healthy soils by 2030. This section provides a map that contains the 180 potential living labs and lighthouses collected within the project Soil Mission Support. PREPSOIL will further enlarge this analysis based on a more detailed taxonomy. The launch of the PREPSOIL enlarged map is set for June 2024.
